App Cards for Private Apps Now Available Across All Enterprise Tiers
HubSpot is expanding access to private app cards, a powerful UI extension that enables businesses to embed custom tools and insights directly within HubSpot interfaces. Previously, private apps with app cards were only available to Sales Hub and Service Hub Enterprise tiers, limiting the number of customers who could build custom solutions for their teams.
Starting November 14th, 2024, all enterprise-tier customers can build and use private app cards, regardless of their hub. This change reflects HubSpot’s commitment to greater flexibility in platform customization, giving developers more freedom to create tailored experiences that meet their unique needs.
What's changing?
UI extensions expanded across multiple locations, including Helpdesk workspace sidebars, it became clear that a broader, more flexible approach was needed. This update allows developers to build app cards for any enterprise-tier account, opening more possibilities for deeper customizations across all hubs.
App Card Access Across All Enterprise Tiers
Customers with any enterprise tier can use CRM development tools to build private apps, including the ability to:
Build UI extensions with React and serverless functions.
Use developer sandboxes.
Discover all the tools in one place using the CRM development home page in the navigation.
Build with CLI and developer projects.
Note: This does not impact public apps. They remain free for developers to build and are available to all customers across tiers via the HubSpot Marketplace.
