3.What excites me most about Data Management & Reporting is the ability to turn raw information into valuable insights, helping people make better decisions and understand the world around them.
I'm Bret Farrer and I've worked in sales, business development, and customer success for 15 + years.
Right now I am wrapping up a contract as a Sales Data and Communications Specialist with a company where I introduced and implemented the first phases of HubSpot marketing and sales hubs. I am looking for my next opportunity in RevOps since it has been the foundation to my approach for sales for over a decade.
The most current industry I worked in was construction and manufacturing in the waterpark and leisure industry. Before that I was working for a change management consulting firm that specializes in distributed workforce operations.
I love the power that data provides to an organization and how that data informs strategies for how to better serve its clients.
I am just digging into becoming a data nerd and welcome any recommendations for places to learn and grow. I will share once I have some to recommend.
Unfortunately, no new content at this time.
I am hoping to start some conversations about RevOps and learn from other peoples perspectives why they are drawn to it and how they plan on implementing it.

Hello! My name is Jillian and I am currently a CRM freelance business analyst for my own venture. I work primarily with B2B organizations with established CRM systems, however, I am able to work with businesses who are ready to take the next step and invest in the CRM that is right for them. I am a big fan of process and helping create process that works for end users, so I'm excited to learn more about the workflows that HubSpot can help implement as well as the customizations available to create. I am currently listening to "speaking of data" - it's a quick weekly podcast that is easy to fold into my routine. I'm working on developing thought leadership and blog content right now to help my network and potential clients understand what tools and resources are available to them and how I can help be an advocate for their CRM journey. Hello, Joe here. I am a Sales Manager at a startup focused on improving the lives of one of the most difficult industries. We focus on operational tech solutions.
Prior to this company, my sales leadership experience was very mature with a lot of self-built tools to help manage transactional relationships.
We are a national company and being able to have data driven decisions and focus is a better way to have repeated success. I don't have a favorite outlet for learning about the topic, but I do follow Taylor Otstot.
I have published a lot of leadership tips and tricks on LinkedIn, but I am focused on growing my team and documenting process to mature our sales activities. We learn best from others and in a Sales profession it is easier to see and adpt others results versus create items from scratch.
I sell a SaaS solution to the transportation industry.
Managing a large territory is impossible without a CRM. I get most excited about using that CRM to make me as efficient as possible so I con put my efforts on the most productive activiites.
Sorry no favorite content sources on the topic & no new content as of now.
I'm coming at revenue operations from the sales side of the equation, hoping the group will help me best understand that role, and become proficient at it. I see very few organizations that realize the importance of it to provide the most efficiency possible for the sales side of the business.
Hello! Very pleased to join this community and participate, and ever grateful for the existence of Hubspot and its community! My answers are below:
Freelance community management and video content creation.
VoIP technologies and services principally, tech sector in general.
It's an area of active development and stands to benefit from innovative strategies and novel thinking.
I don't at this point but I'm going to scope other folks' recommendations in this thread for sure!
Right now I'm working on building up a couple of different portfolios for different purposes: VoIP tech consulting content, video marketing content, and other marketing-related materials. Nothing ready to be shared yet though.
I'm hoping to deepen my knowledge of this area to a level of proficiency and profundity that nourishes my burgeoning career progression into content and management functions for my respective areas of development I mentioned. Having this skill set would be immensely valuable for my goals in consulting and related services.
