Introduce Yourself!

Hey everybody 👋

  1. I'm currently a Program Owner at an agency
  2. We help mid-market B2B companies across a lot of industries who have stagnated in their growth and want to bring in their next million dollar lifetime customer.
  3. I think data management and reporting is so underrated and it fascinates me. I feel like I'm often told to not focus on it but in my opinion, it makes a world of difference in running a business.
  4. No recommendations yet, but hoping to get some from the group!
  5. My wife and I are pivoting our content creation business to focus on inbound marketing and lightweight hubspot implementations. We're in the very beginning stages so I'm getting our HubSpot website set up and we're both excited to start creating content again for LinkedIn, a blog, YouTube, and probably a podcast again at some point. We're excited to start producing content as professionals, not just as the fun couple on TikTok that people love to love.
  6. I'm hoping to learn from other RevOps professionals! I've been craving mentorship in this area, so I'm excited to just be a sponge and soak it all up 😍

Thanks for holding space and providing a group like this!

Introduce Yourself!

I’m excited by how clean, well-structured data can drive powerful insights and strategic decisions. I enjoy transforming raw data into clear, actionable reporting that helps teams move forward with confidence.

Yes — I’d recommend the DataCamp Podcast for practical perspectives, and MeasureSchool on YouTube for hands-on tutorials related to Google Analytics and data layers.

I’m currently working on a project that uses HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build a web-based dashboard. It’s helping me better understand front-end data presentation and user interaction.

I’m hoping to deepen my understanding of best practices in data governance, improve my SQL and dashboarding skills, and learn from the real-world experiences of others in the group.

Introduce Yourself!

Hi I'm Em

1. What’s your current role?
I’m doing business transformation work—basically helping companies get their teams, tools, and processes working better together so they can actually deliver what they promise.

2. What industry do you currently work in?
Mostly fintech and insurance, but it’s really a mix of financial services. Wherever there’s messy delivery data and big goals, I tend to get involved.

3. What excites you most about Data Management & Reporting?
I love turning chaos into clarity. There’s something really satisfying about cleaning up data and then using it to tell a story that actually helps people make better decisions.

4. Do you have a favorite blog, podcast, video series, or newsletter that you’d recommend to other professionals interested in Data Management & Reporting?
Yep—The Analytics Engineering Roundup is great for staying in the loop on the modern data stack. And I like SuperDataScience for a good mix of hands-on tips and big-picture thinking.

5. Is there any new content that you’re working on right now?
I’m putting together a lightweight reporting approach for Jira/Tempo that helps non-data teams make sense of their delivery patterns. Something practical for busy teams who need insights, not dashboards that gather dust.

6. What are you hoping to get out of this study group?
Fresh ideas, better ways of doing things, and some good conversations with people who geek out about this stuff too.
