Defining RevOps and Sharing Your Learning Goals
Here at HubSpot, we define Revenue Operations, or RevOps, as the people, processes, systems, and data that control how your business generates revenue.
That means that if you work at an organization that generates revenue, then you have RevOps at play in your business!
RevOps enables you to not only strategically improve your customer experience, but it also lets you powerfully and intentionally scale your business.
So, as I kick-off this conversation about RevOps, I’d love to learn the following about you:

How do you define RevOps?
What do you hope to learn in HubSpot Academy’s Revenue Operations Certification?
RevOps to me is the alignment of sales, marketing, and customer relationship management with the aim of offering the customer a consistent and seamless experience with each touchpoint.
With this course I hope to get a better understanding of the deployment of effective RevOps
My definition of RevOps stems back to the business model, how it services its customers throughout the entire journey, to ensure revenue and customer experience are maximized by having a firm handle on Data, well-designed processes, with systems set up for people to be effective.
I hope to learn to crystalize the RevOps understanding and have a repeatable framework I can implement over and over that is dynamic and allows us to implement, learn, pivot, and optimize.

How do you define RevOps? The science of applying data and communicating effectively with a team to increase Revenue in an organization without having to invest more financial resources.
What do you hope to learn in HubSpot Academy’s Revenue Operations Certification? I hope to acquire the knowledge and techniques needed to help scale my customer's operations.

How do you define RevOps? I agree with HubSpot's definition of revenue operations. Ultimately, it aligns marketing, sales, customer success, and support teams to view and approach the customer experience holistically and throughout their entire journey from lead to customer.
What do you hope to learn in HubSpot Academy’s Revenue Operations Certification? I hope to gain more understanding and insight to help better promote the value of hiring a revenue operations specialist (such as myself) to my potential clients

How do you define RevOps? Sales, Marketing, and Customer success all working together throughout the lifecycle of a customer to drive growth, retention, and operational efficiency.

What’s your name, and where are you based? I'm Ananda Narasimhan, I'm based out of Chennai, India.
How do you define RevOps? RevOps to me would be a good friend, who's always there to keep an eye out for you. If you're stuck doing repetitive things they notify you about it, if you're going back to your toxic behavious they have an intervention, they help you make the best out of yourself and also show empathy to those you work with and spread a sense of positive feeling about their experience with you. What do you hope to learn in HubSpot Academy’s Revenue Operations Certification? I hope to learn the basics, I've worked with my fair share of RevOps teams in my experience in SaaS and this would definitely be helpful for me to understand the undelying principles better and possible get the certification and start looking for opportunities that will let me implement and optimize a business. So that in the future if and when I start a company of my own, I can make sure that the basics were laid out right.

Agree with the training so far - Rev Ops is a wholistic approach to managing operations structure, tech, and processes for All teams in a company generating revenue.
What do you hope to learn in HubSpot Academy’s Revenue Operations Certification?
I hope to learn how to approach my coming role in running this department. I want to apply these learnings in an easy to ingest format & support the changes so that teams do not feel displaced or burdened by our improvements.
I'd define RevOps as fine-tuning resources & process that already exist in a business to increase ROI without increasing costs.
I'd like to add structure and process to the digital marketing skills I've developed over the last 15 years while running my own business, and combine it with HubSpot's undeniable ability to improve business processes.

2. I'd define RevOps as the strategic management of using prospect information and converting it to useful sales, marketing, and customer service data to bring a better customer experience leading to sales.

What do you hope to learn in HubSpot Academy’s Revenue Operations Certification?
I hope to learn how I'm able to lead more of you and assist in ways where getting your entire organization speaking to the same language to your customer because the data is giving them the right information.

2). I would define RevOps as the ability to streamline operations at my own company, this includes orchestrating operational teams that are aligned and analyzing data that are vital to the success of the company's growth.
