Here at HubSpot, we define Revenue Operations, or RevOps, as the people, processes, systems, and data that control how your business generates revenue.

 

That means that if you work at an organization that generates revenue, then you have RevOps at play in your business!

 

RevOps enables you to not only strategically improve your customer experience, but it also lets you powerfully and intentionally scale your business.

 

So, as I kick-off this conversation about RevOps, I’d love to learn the following about you:

2. To me, RevOps is a holistic approach that brings together cross functional teams (Sales, Customer Success and Marketing) to break the silos they often work in. Unifying them in a way that helps to create more visibility, strategic thinking and decision making to create operational efficiency within existing or new processes.

3. As an Enablement Leader working under the RevOps umbrella, I'm looking to strengthen my understanding of RevOps as a function and the ways that I can make a deeper contribution within my organization. I want to learn what data is important to track, and how it can be examined to both better identify challenge areas, and measure program/launch/process change impact.

  1. I'm Beth - I'm in Fort Collins, CO
  2. RevOps = the practice of examining data and making decisions from that data that helps to further unify your internal team, and improve the customer's experience.
  3. My current company desparately needs RevOps...we've been floundering and flip flopping org structures and what we call our offering and basically trying to change everything but what actually needs to happen - which is that we need a RevOps person. I have wanted to be this person for the past 2 years, and as they're asking me about what I think about yet another structure change coming up...I'm hoping this course will give me the information and confidence to walk into the next meeting and say, "you need me to be our RevOps person," and have them actually listen. I know this could finally solve our problems as an org, and it's where I want to go for my career. I really want to be a proper RevOps pro.

2) I define RevOps as the step-by-step activity of noting down the processes involved in conducting business, and then mindfully re-considering them to find scope of opportunities and inefficiencies, to improve business processes by fixing those bottlenecks. In the event, we tend to streamline our business operations, thus deriving productivity leading to explosive growth in company's revenue over time, while also elevating customer experience.

Hello Mary, hello folks! I'm Florian, greeting you from Malaga city, Andalusia, Spain.

 

For me the RevOps is the guy that's constantly asking how to improve sales eficiency in the same time he/she's delivering keys and insights to sales-related deprtments on how to improve sales eficiency 😄

Speaking practical, the RevOps is the internal-but-still-CX-focused data rigorist who prevents Sales and the whole company from losing money, or spending it a wrong way, or missing opportunities, going for example too fast to the wrong market.

 

I expect HubSpot Academy’s Revenue Operations Certification to give me the keys for sucess in this very new role to me, by helping me having clear in mind what are the very first steps for an impactful start, and what I should never forget all along my carreer to keep bringing Marketing, CS and Sales to success.
