The good news is that HubSpot rolled out new pricing yesterday - it is effective for all new Customers, which means you could get 1 seat of Service Hub Enterprise for $130/mo and have access to Custom Objects, Workflows, and more - it's the best deal you can get.
Sales Pro Seats start at $90/month and would unlock Workflows if you don't need the additional capabilities that custom objects offer.
In the past, you had to purchase the tier first, then additional seats. This is still somewhat similar for Marketing Hub, CMS Hub, and Ops Hub because the barrier to entry is higher with them included 3 core seats.

If you're open to using 3rd party data integration apps then we at Outfunnel offer a Pipedrive-HubSpot integration that lets you record HubSpot email opens, clicks, bounces, and unsubscribes in Pipedrive.
The engagement sync is also available on the Basic plan. Though if you need to sync data for more than 3K active contacts then you'd have to choose the professional plan.
There's a few places where the data is visible in Pipedrive:
- A custom activity on Contact/Organization/Deal timeline. Activities can be used in reporting, activity views and it's also possible to launch workflows. - Outfunnel panel. This is a section that displays on every Contact/Deal profile that displays aggregated data about engagement - Lead score. Outfunnel combines the data and creates a lead score that's filterable and reportable.
You can also choose to create a contact with default and custom fields in Pipedrive if it doesn't exist when syncing engagements. That said, we don't yet run a constant field sync but we're working on it and planning to release that in Q2 which would effectively offer the same feature set for contact syncing as Operations Hub.

Hey @andrus, which version is required to sync email interactions from HS to Pipedrive?
It looks like Professonial is required as this provides "contact + engagement syncing".
Also, would the professional version replace Operations Hub for syncing custom fields? And how is the data visualized in Pipedrive? Can we see an activity timeline, or is it just the fields?

Hi @LSALAMA looking at the two-way sync options for HubSpot and Pipedrive, it doesn't look possible to have your email activity (open/click data) synced across.
What you could do instead is create a workflow that uses the open/click data as a trigger, then assigns those contacts a task.
The task could then be synced from HubSpot to Pipedrive telling your rep to follow up with the contact.
