Storing and Reporting on Sales NOT connected to leads/deals/quotes/products

I'm hoping i'm posting this in the correct community!

 

I'm trying to build a UseCase for HubSpot with a non traditional CRM useage, unfortunately I can't figure out a way to configure the system to meet the requirements, any help would be appreciated.

None of the information is or will be connected to Leads/Products/Deals/Quotes.

 

I need to store the following information
Up to 20 Tiered sales targets per year per Company
Each Sales target can have up to 10 tiers, which may have a calculated or fixed target.

On top of this, each Company provides multiple sales reports per year with cumlative sales numbers, and I need to be able to associate these numbers to the relevant sales target. Ideally store the reports sent in, and track when they were recieved etc. 

If I can figure out how to get the data stored in HubSpot, then I'll look at the reporting, which will need to show progress to tiers, tiers achieved etc, all on a per company level.

Any and all suggestions on how to approach this are welcome and appreciated!

You might be able to achieve this using custom objects in HubSpot. Create a custom object for “Sales Targets” (with tier fields) and another for “Sales Reports.” Then associate them with the Company object. That way you can store multiple targets per company, link uploaded reports, and track dates received. For reporting, you could use custom reports or dashboards filtered by company and target tiers.

You might be able to achieve this using custom objects in HubSpot. Hey @Taeliesyn, Happy Friday!

 

Since the data isn't connected to Leads/Products/Deals/Quotes, you might want to explore using custom objects or fields in HubSpot to store this information. You can create custom properties for each tier, sales target, and report, and use workflows or reports to associate the sales targets and reports with companies.

Hi @PamCotton Thanks for the reply and tagging the resident experts.
I experiemented with Custom Objects and Custom Fields, but just couldn't wrap my head around how the different items should be interlinked and configured.

Hopefully the experts can give some guidance on what items should go where. 🙂
