How to automatically update a Company Property date every 12 months

SOLVE

Is it possible to set up a Company Property which is a date that automatically updates every 12 months so long as the company has a Deal in a certain stage or otherwise a Company Property equal to a certain value?

With the way our business works it's very rare that a Company has more than 1 Deal and we need deals to stay in the salesperson's name, plus our Account Managers prefer using the CRM > Companies view and Company Properties to manage the client.

Therefore, we have a "Contract Expiry" Company Property that is currently manual input. I would like to make it automatic so that it adds 12 months the day after the expiry date so long as there's a Deal in Stage Closed/Won or a Company Property titled "Status" equals "Active". How would I set this up considering we have Operations Hub?

Hi @MattDubs,

Yes, this should be possible with the following components:

  1. Create a calculation property that adds 365 days to the current contract expiry date: Create calculation and rollup properties
  2. Create an annual recurring workflow based on the contract expiry date, then use the 'Edit record' workflow action to copy the value from the property in step 1 into the contract expiry date: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/workflows/use-based-on-a-schedule-workflow-enrollment-triggers?hubs_co...

This workflow would now wait until the date arrives, then update it to one year later.

(Keep in mind that without Operations Hub Professional, this doesn't account for gap years.)

Let me know if you have any follow-up questions!

Apologies I made an error - we don't have Operations Hub Professional therefore we don't have the Format Data option in Workflows.
