What is considered "Closed won" in recurring revenue reports?

SOLVE

Hi community!

I'm trying to set up recurring revenue reporting based on multiple Deals pipelines. Everything works fine with our primary "New Sales Pipeline," but other pipelines do not work the same.

This knowledge article describes how to set this up:

knowledge.hubspot.com/deals/track-recurring-revenue-with-revenue-analytics

And there, it says

Please note: only deals in the Closed won deal stage are included in your revenue analytics report. A deal's Close date is the start date for revenue reporting.”

And this brings up the question: "What is considered Closed Won in recurring revenue reports?"

My questimate is that our main pipeline has "closedwon" as internal id for the "Closed Won" stage, while other pipelines has some numeric ID for the same. All have "Deal Probability = Won."

Thanks for your help, already in advance.

Cheers,

--Mikko

Hello @mikkishub 🙂

My name is Olivia and I am a HubSpot expert working with Baskey Digital. I am happy to help here!

When HubSpot says 'closed won' it is referring to any deal stage with the deal stage probability of 'won'. It does not matter what the name of the stage is.

For example, in the screenshot below both closed won and Qualified to buy are technically counted as 'Closed won' in HS reporting.

Does this help?

Thanks Olivia,

That did help. Now I know, I have a problem somewhere else, since my report only seems to include 1/3 pipelines, even when report filter shows "All pipelines."

I need to investigate a bit more and then come back with more information.

Thanks again for a quick response.

Cheers,

Hi Olivia,

Here's the report I'm referring to:

mikkishub_0-1726062054562.png

It's still "beta", and I don't know how to update the report, or change the filters. Except for the ones on top of the report. And there you see "Pipeline = Any pipeline," but results are only based on one pipeline.

I've done my best in trying to check that data for the other pipelines should match with the required criteria for this report.

Cheers,

--Mikko
