Weighted Amount Doesn't Update Correctly In Pipeline
SOLVE
The weighted amount in the deal pipeline is based on whatever probability % is set in settings for the deal stage, even if you manually change the probability in the deal record.
Example: - Deal Stage "Appointment Scheduled" defaults to 20% probability
- Rep keeps the deal at that stage, but adjusts the probability to 10%
- In the pipeline view, the deal is still weighted to 20%
See the attached screenshot; note the 10% probability applied to both the Forecast probability AND the Deal probability, but the Weighted amount in the Appointment Scheduled column is 20%.
My assumption is that the deal stage column calculates every deal in that column by the stage setting, instead of respecting the individual deal probability, which kinda makes this not very helpful.

Diana,
Might be something else entirely, but we have the same issue - in our case, it is caused by the behaviour described below in red. In fact, we are using a 'clone deal' tool which HubSpot interprets as a manual setting of the discount.
As a solution, instead of using the default HubSpot approach, we have set up workflows that enrol / re-enrol deals as they move lifecycle stage, and set discount levels directly via workflows.
Deal probability:the probability that the deal will close. This property is updated automatically by HubSpot when a user moves a deal to a new stage based on theWin probability set for each deal stage in the pipeline settings. If you manually edit a deal's probability, the property will no longer be updated automatically based on the pipeline's open stages. Manual updates include updating a value on a record, bulk editing records, and changes made via data sync integrations or API. The deal probability will only be automatically set again if that deal moves to a Closed Won stage (100%) or a Closed Lost stage (0%), which can be set in bulk via a workflow.
