Way to Track Meeting Attendance

SOLVE

Hi All,

We've been using HubSpot to manage public facing marketing content for years, but just last year we started the process of onboarding the company to use it for its sales pipeline and CRM features.

Initially, we discussed using activity tracking as intended - as a way for everyone working a deal to see communication related to it and so that we can track what works and what doesn't.

Since implementation, there's been an additional goal to use the tool to track users' sales and networking meeting activity. This is easy to do for meetings users create, I've just set up a report that pulls all of the meetings they've created where the deal name is unknown to surface "networking" meetings and meetings they've created where the deal is known for "sales" meetings.

The problem is that they'll create meetings that are larger than 1 on 1 and add other users as attendees (which is obviously associating the contact record for the person, not the user ID). Does anyone know of any ways to either A. "Link" a user to a contact and report on their attendance or B. Some other way to associate users with meetings to allow for reporting on attendance?

Thank you!

Way to Track Meeting Attendance

Hi @PCotter, hope that you are doing great!

Thank you for asking the HubSpot Community!

At the moment, you cannot report on attendance but I’ve noticed a similar idea already present in our Ideas Forum: Add possibility to report on meeting attendees. To contribute, you can upvote the existing idea and share more details about your specific use case in the comments.

However, there are some workarounds available:

- The solution from @karstenkoehler on this post "How to create report showing all contacts who attended a specific webinar?"
- The solution from @Sam_Campbell on this post "Tracking and reporting on events and attendance"
- The solutions from @SSukys, @victoriaharkes on this post "Looking for a better way to record event attendance"

I hope this helps!

Have a wonderful day!

Best,
Bérangère
