View meetings booked based per owner

We have one meetings link that is used by multiple sales reps in their emails - is it possible to view meetings booked by "deal owner" aka sales rep even though it's not their meeting calendar

View meetings booked based per owner

Hi @Omnidek ,

Thanks for providing this information! I recreated this scenario in my test portal to determine if there would be a workaround for you. The suggestion below requires access to Cross-object reports.

Configure your meeting link

Edit your meeting subject or description to make the subject or description unique for this meeting.

MeetingLink.png

In my example I used “test description” as my meeting description. This description is not used for any other meeting description in my portal.

Create your report

Once a contact has booked a meeting this way, you can:

1. Go to Reports>Report.

2. Create a cross-object report.

3. Select Deals and Activities.

Step 1.png

4. Create a filter for Activity>Meeting Description Contains: “enter the description you used for your meeting link”.

5. Create a filter for Deals>Deal Owner: is known.

Step 2.png

6. In the visualization tab of your report, display Deal Owner and Measure by Count of activities.

Step 3.png

This report will display meetings with "test description" as the description. Because that description is only used for one specfic meeting link, we know that any meetings displaying were booked as a result of the meeting link being sent in an email. Based on the context you provided, the deal owner is also the person that sent the email.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any additional questions!

Thanks,

Hi @Omnidek

I would be happy to take a look into this!

It sounds like your team using a shared calendar with a single meeting link.

Can you send me the name of a contact that booked a meeting this way and your HubID so I can investigate further?

Thanks,

Melinda

Actually, it's one calender but multiple people link to that calendar in their email so a meeting can be booked with the same person. But the report need to present the sourced person of the meetings

Thanks for clarifying, @Omnidek

The ability to create a report based on meeting link sender isn't natively supported, but I'm happy to dig deeper to see if I can create a workaround for you.

It sounds like there are a few things to consider:

  1. Email was sent containing the meeting link
  2. A meeting from that meeting link was booked
  3. A deal was created after that meeting was booked

Then you would like to see who sent the original email with the meeting link, even though the email sender was not who the meeting is assigned to.

Is the Deal Owner also the Contact Owner? Or do you specifically need to see this information organized by Deal Owner (only if there is an associated deal)?

I have a couple of theories I am testing out in my own portal to see if I can create a workaround for you.

I believe we can be sure they are the contact owner, most likely would be the one in communication with that person
