Using Date Comparison Filter: Values for KPI involving 2 objects

Sales card.JPGHi! So I wanted to compare the total sales (transactions object) this month vs last month using a KPI card by contact owner (contact object). I can see that we can do it for a transactions object and adjust the date range (which will then adjust my sales value in KPI card), but I would need to join it with a contact object and it's not letting me at the moment. See card below, but I need to be able to have dashboard-level filter of contact owner.

Hey @PCruz30 ,

I have a solution to compare any metric over time series events, while filtering by the sales rep. Let me know if you are interested.

Hi @PCruz30! Welcome to the Community-- happy to have you here 😊

I understand you want to add a Contact owner filter to your Transactions object report. Did you use a single object report or the custom report builder? To filter a custom object report by Contact owner (or any other object property for that matter) we will need to include the Contact object in the data sources.

If you are using a single object report, you will likely need to recreate the report in the custom report builder and include the Contact object.

Please let me know if I did not understand your questions or if you need additional clarification! I am eager to solve this with you.

Best,
Kennedy
