WE are looking for a user report to "catch" no activity. The HubSpot sales extension tool if pretty finicky and so I want to be able to view a report every Monday that shows (Activty Type = Email Sent where Activiy Email count = 0) so we can reach out to the user to ensure that they Turn on their sales extension tool. BEtter yet if we could do a workflow that auto sends an email to the user and myself when the email activity count is zero after 5 days.....Any ideas??? WE can't be the only ones needing something like this.
We developed our own integration directly with Google Workspace and Outlook to prevent exactly that. It ensures that every relevant email is always logged, even if they don't log it for some reason.
There is also the case when you send the email from your phone, where you don't have the extension and typically don't add the bcc address you need to log the email.
Happy to catch up over Zoom to discuss further and see how we might be able to help you.
@JdeRocquigny, I would like to confirm the issue. Are you trying to figure out which of your salespeople are not using the extension and log all the emails they send to contacts to HubSpot? Would you like to ensure all emails sent to or received by sales prospects are correctly logged to HubSpot? Please correct me if I misunderstood anything.
Hi there, I want to be able to quickly identify any users that haven't logged an email in last 5 days so that I can reach out to them to see if their sales extension tool has "turned off". It's a finicky add-in and so often our users go quite some time without noticing it's not working!

Thanks Pam. that is the issue. When I see low numbers, I can reach out to those users but as our user base #'s grow, I need to be able to see null values so that I can review that list and reach out accordingly. Right now I have to "notice" that someone is missing and go from there but that is not scalable. There should be a way to show user activity and set minimums and a flag based on that minimum over a certain time frame.
To monitor zero email activity, you could set up a custom report focusing on users with low email activity within a specific timeframe, as HubSpot doesn't directly report on zero activity. Another option is a workflow that checks for recent email activity after a 5-day delay. If no activity is detected, it can automatically email both the user and yourself to remind them to enable their sales extension. Let me know if you'd like help setting it up!
