Showing growth of a particular property?

Hi there, I'm hoping someone can help explain to me how I can use a Dashboard to show the growth of a particular property, ideally as a graph going up and (ideally) to the right 📈. For context, we work with a lot of startups, and we want to track the number of employees they have. 

So say I was to have a property for a Company that is "Number of employees". What I'd like to do is show over time that across ALL the companies we work with the number of employees is going up. So the x axis would be time, the y axis would be number of employees, and the data would be aggregated across all Companies. Is this possible?

You can export the history across all records, you wouldn't have to do this record by record 🙂

Hi @OliLittlejohn,

I gave this some thought but I think it can't be done with HubSpot reports. HubSpot properties only let you access the current value of a property. Hence, reports can't plot property values over time.

There is a way to access this information via exporting the property history. If companies go through changes in "Number of employees", you would have that information in an exported Excel file and could visualize this it outside of HubSpot.

I was worried that might be the case. Seems pretty weird that you wouldn't be able to chart the progress your properties are making! Doubt I'll have time to export each company individually too 😞
