Hi! For very quick context, I am a marketer, so I use the Marketing Hub Professional, but I am very new to Hubspot. The company moved to Hubspot in 2021, but it seems nothing has ever been set up properly, so I'm on a mission to do it.
My sales team uses the Sales Hub Professional subscription and they created a report to track closed revenue per day vs goal, however are having trouble with tracking deal increases properly to align with KPI's and Goals.
We are finding that if we have a multi-year deal that includes an annual price increase, the report only captures the difference between the old and new prices, not the whole yearly contract price.
The team seem to create a new deal for the price difference, which doesn't seem logical to me, so perhaps this is not right?
They ultimately want to know how to keep track of revenue increases within one deal. Any help would be appreciated!!
Hello @EVernon0! Sorry to see you are having this issue.
Did you try keeping the increment in a separate property and updating the deal amount with a workflow after a certain time? If you didn't, you can try that out. It might solve the issue.
If you did, and it still didn't work, let me know, and we can dig deeper!
