Reporting Month to Month Total of Deals Across an Entire Pipeline

Hello,

I'm looking for a way to report month-to-month totals across an entire pipeline.

I’m not looking for dollar amounts but rather the total number of deals to report monthly metrics across a specific pipeline category.

Currently, I can only report on individual stages or filters within the pipeline.
However, I would like to summarize monthly totals for the entire pipeline.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @GeorgiaMC,

This is unfortunately not possible. Custom HubSpot reports only visualize the current state, not the total of records that met certain criteria at a previous point in time. In the custom report builder, it's not possible to create a report that shows how many deals there were in the past month or the month before.

The closest would be the historical snapshots report in the sales collections: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/reports/create-sales-reports-with-the-sales-reports-analytics-tool

While this shows the amount, you can hover your mouse over a bar and get the count of deals. By scrolling down, you'll also see the count in the data table.

But yes, you're correct, this is limited to one pipeline, and this pipeline filter is required and cannot be removed.

In other words, what you're trying to do is unfortunately currently not possible. The best approximation would be multiple historical snapshots reports placed side by side on a dashboard.
