I am trying to create a report for tracking all deals that started as MQL and seeing how they closed (which seems to be the easiest part). I'm struggling with the best way to capture the START of all MQL deals.
Prefer no workflows, but a solid report that could be published/distributed on a regular basis.
@karstenkoehler I did not have success with this. I am unable to execute via your instructions.
Here is my path:
create custom report - custom report builder - pirmary data source is contacts + sales activities +CRM of Contacts and Deals - Next, honestly - this is as far as I've gotten. I'm not sure my end result is clear enough, as none of the axis information is what I'm needing my end result to be.
My end result is needing to be following an MQL through the entire process, providing the deal type, and closing data info as well.
Could you specify what you are referring to when you say "entire process"? Which visualization are you looking for? Do you want a table view of deals, each with a columns for certain properties?
Best regards

@karstenkoehler I am looking for a report that will show the MQL from start to close; showing the progress through the difference stages; the deal type, and then of course, the closing info (won, lost). What I am having difficulty with is the first part, especially as we are looking for year-to-date MQL progress/status. The MQL is entered, but as our sales team moves it from stage to stage, we lose visibility to it.
I have a report I generated earlier, but what it's missing is the path from start to finish. I can send it over if that would help better define what I'm trying to accomplish. Please let me know. Thank you.
