Query ALL ACTIVITY in a date range

My boss wanted me to account for sales activites done during a couple of business trips.  Should be pretty easy to do but I don't know how to query a date range in the free version.  Can this be done some how in a search or a report?

If you go to your dashboard and find the report you want you just need to hover over the date range and you will have the options to click "Report Settings"

Once you click that you will get a menu where you cana change the date range.
