Notification / report for sales rep activity (adding new companies to CRM)

Hey community,


I have a client (Sales Director) who is looking to be notified when a team member (Sales Rep) doesn't do a specific task. In this instance, the sales team is asked to add X number of new companies per day to the CRM each. 


Is there a report or email notification via a workflow that would give this insight? Eg yesterday Y sales rep didn't load the X number of companies into the CRM.

 

I've seen in Enterprise it can target / quota Deal numbers but I don't think that quite right plus they are on Pro. We have a system external to HubSpot which we can do this in but are looking to do from HubSpot ideally for this client.

 

Any ideas?

This can be partly achieved with a custom single object company report. This would be the chart configuration:

 

companies.png

 

This report could go onto a dashboard which could be delivered to the inbox of the stakeholders: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/dashboard/can-i-email-my-marketing-dashboard-to-my-colleagues

 

Unfortunately, it's not possible to set a goals for companies created. (For an overview of available goals, this knowledge base article is a great resource.) Someone would have to look at the report and check if the quota was met or not.

Thanks Karsten, that makes sense. That kinda like the solution I had but wanted to sense check I wasn't missing a way to notify via workflow.
