Multiple Goals on single report

SOLVE

Silly question time.... again.

I have a sales team with a 2 revenue targets that are set up in HS... a minimum quota and a stretch goal...  the minimum quota is set up as User goals and the stretch goal is set up as a Team goal

How can I show YTD sales with both goals displayed in the same report?

Thanks in advance

Not silly at all @spaulsen 😊 Follow up questions are always welcome!

I'm looking at creating goals and custom goals in HubSpot sales, and connecting them to the custom reports. I didn't create a report myself, just leaning on my understanding of Custom Reports and the various objects/properties in HubSpot, and other resources like KB articles. So I can't gurantee it's a perfect solution. Just hoping to spark the solution as you're working through it.

SOLVE

If you have Goals set up in your Deals, you should be able to a custom report that includes both the sale rep goals and the team goals to show YTD sales. I'd try this:

  1. Go to Reports, then Create a custom report.

  2. Choose "Deals" as the primary data source.

  3. Add the "Amount" property to your report to show the total revenue generated by your sales team.
  4. Click on filters and select the date range you want to view.

  5. Then select "User goal" and choose the minimum quota as the goal type and set the value to "Yes" to filter out the deals that have not met the quota.

  6. Add another filter for "Team goal" and choose the stretch goal as the goal type and set the value to "Yes" to filter out the deals that have not met the stretch goal.

  7. Save the report and run it to see the YTD sales with both goals displayed in the same report.

Hope that helps, @spaulsen

@danmoyle thank you for the info.... silly follow up question time....

what do you mean by setting the Goals up in Deals?

I set them up by going to Settings, then Tracking & Analytics, then Goals

I searched Knowledge Base and couldn't find how to set Goals up in Deals, and it is evidently necessary because I can't follow your instructions past #4... Can't find User Goals anywhere.

Sorry to such nube and a pain, just trying to gain clarity.

Thanks

However...

the answer was staring me in the face the whole time.

I just had to check the box "Include monthly report goal" and set that to a monthly amount that would add up to my annual stretch goal and here's what I got...

You did point me towards the answer...

I created one goal (Quota) as User goal and the other (Stretch) as Team goal.

Team goals can not be included in reports (see pic)
