Meeting to deal conversion

SOLVE

Hi,

Looking for a way to create a report, where meeting booked resulted in a deal creation.

As an example if we have 30 meeting booked for a given month, 5 deal were created from it. How to create a report for this?

I saw other posts but they focus on meeting booked and deal won conversion

I want to see meeting booked and deal created conversion

Meeting to deal conversion

SOLVE

Hey @PMenkar1, here's one way to achieve this. I'm also assuming that you are using the meeting tools to handling all bookings AND the deals are created in the same month. If not, adjust as needed.

Once you have that answer, you can create a custom report, off these two items.

1. Create a Date/Time Contact Property of Last Deal Creation Date (Date Picker).

2. Create a workflow with the trigger of Number of Associated Deals has changed (screenshot #1).

3. Create a Contact List with Last Deal Creation Date is after property Date of last meeting booked in meeting tool, Date of last meeting booked in meeting tool = this month. and Associated Deals were created this month (screenshot #2).

hello,
1. I have ent plan and for this part, Reports → Create → Customer Journey  it does not allow different properties from two different object, if I choose deals then I cannot see meeting object which is from different object
2.Only ops hub allows formula fields as per my knowledge

Meeting to deal conversion

SOLVE

Hi @PMenkar1

Quick clarification first: are you on Sales Hub Enterprise or just Pro? I’m infering Pro, but if you confirm Enterprise you’ll have the easy Journey Report option.

1. Enterprise route (fastest) – go to Reports → Create → Customer Journey, pick Deals as data source, set Step 1 = “Meeting start date is known” (or Meeting Type = Sales call, whatever you track) and Step 2 = “Deal create date is within same month”; HubSpot shows counts plus conversion % automatically. Full how-to here → Customer Journey report KB (knowledge.hubspot.com)

2. Pro or lower tiers – open the Custom Report Builder (Reports → Create → Custom report), choose primary object Deals and add secondary Activities → Meetings; drag “Unique count of Meeting IDs” and “Unique count of Deal IDs” into Metrics, then click Add formula and build Deals created ÷ Meetings booked (format as %). KB for builder if you need screens → (knowledge.hubspot.com.)

3. In Filters set Meeting start date = This month and Deal create date = This month; that keep both metrics inside same window—small grammar slip here is normal 😉.

4. Switch chart to Single number + comparison or a simple Table so reps see 30 meetings, 5 deals, 16.7 % conversion in one glance; save to a dashboard named “Meeting → Deal”.

5. Want to break down by owner or meeting type? Just pull Meeting organizer or Meeting type into Breakdowns—the formula keeps working per row.

6. If you prefer ready-made guidance, Community thread “Creating a Sales Meeting vs Closed Won Deals Report” already walks a similar build (just swap “Deal won” for “Deal created”) – worth a peek HubSpot Community.

7. To trend over time, clone the report, change filter to Last 12 months, switch chart to Column, and add a goal line equal to last month’s %; now you see if conversion rise or fall month-over-month.

8. Give this a spin and tell me if any step still fuzzy—I’ll adjust the advices gladly.

Hope that’s useful.
