Lifecycle stage changes by HubSpot Calculation

Résolue

Hi,

I noticed that HubSpot is automatically changing the lifecycle stage, even after I manually set it. I do not know what is the creteria is based on to change the values. I'd rather just change the stages manually. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? It's causing issues with my reporting.

Thanks!

Hi @CRuan,

Generally yes, can you share a screenshot of the property history for the lifecycle stage for this particular record? Is this a contact or company record?

Typically, either your deal or company settings can cause this:

Hi Karsten,

But my lifecycle stage was set backwards, which is not part of the setting. Here is the screenshot:

You can see that the lifecyle stage was MQL on Sept 4th and was set backwards on the 5th, I looked at the details, it says that it was updated by HubSpot calculation. This is how our lifecycle stage automation was set up:

Thanks!

@CRuan what exactly did you black out in the screenshot? HubSpot typically does not move records back in lifecycle stage, only forward.

Can you please share a screenshot of the property history, see my previous reply? https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/view-record-property-history#view-historical-values-for-a-prop...

@CRuan where exactly in your lifecycle stage logic does "Contact" sit?

Its at the very beginning when a contact record is created.

Here is the logic: Contact - MQL - Opportunity - Customer
