How to set Sales goal for emails sent

I'm currently setting goals for our sales team. I have Calls made and meetings booked, but I didn't see a template for emails sent, nor do I seem to be able to create a template for it using proper metrics. Wondering if anyone else has done this and if there's a fix for it? Thank you!

You're correct, within the custom goals area in HubSpot, this is not possible. However, other users have requested this before: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/Create-Goals-for-Emails-sent-to-contacts/idc-p/108127...

As far as workarounds go, you could still create custom activity reports that visualize the Count of activities by Activity created by, filtered for Activity type. You couldn't set different goals for users but at least see the counts per user at a glance.
