How to see in report aims to see the number of leads in a pipeline: Lead = company

SOLVE

Hi, colleagues,

I created a report showing the number of leads in a pipeline in open status, meaning New, Attempting, and Connected.

As you know, we can associate and create leads from contacts and companies.

Our goal for this report is to see a number of leads in a pipeline that is equal to unique companies, not contact = lead. How do we achieve it using some association filters?

Now we see leads = contacts, but for example, having a goal of having 100 leads = 100 companies now we can have just 50 companies and 2 contacts associated with each company.

PS. We agreed that we would create leads from contacts.

Thanks.

Hi @ISmolin,

You would have to create a company-based report instead of a lead-based report – that is, as far as I know, the only way to have this deduplication by company in your report. If the goal is to visualize the count of companies that have a lead in a certain stage, it must be a company report, it cannot be a lead report.

The main challenge would then be that you need to make sure that each lead has an assigned company as well.
