Dashboards & Reporting

How can you access Associated Companies in Reports or Workflows?

SOLVE

We have a custom object (Management Company) that we associate individual companies with.

Here is what I want to achieve.

I am looking for an efficient way to access a list of companies with their associated Management Company (custom object). Ideally this would be through a workflow push to a google sheet, but I would also be able to use a list or report export.

Ideal output would be a company list with a column for the management company associated. Alternative would be a list of management companies (duplicated or unduplicated) with a column of associated companies.

Is there a way to access the name of associated custom objects in a workflow or report and export it?

Thank you

Hi @bbullington,

It sounds like you're looking to build a report across two objects? (A workflow would not be quite suitable here and the Google Sheets integration only references data from the enrolled object.)

Following these steps, you can build a custom report: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/reports/create-custom-reports

You'd select Companies and Management company as data sources for your report, choose a table visualization and drag and drop whichever rows/columns youw need into the report.

After saving the report, you can export the raw report data or set up recurring emails to internal stakeholders:

Let me know if you have any follow-up questions!

Hey @bbullington hope you are doing well.

If I understand correctly

this 'd be a simple report from your custom object "associated Management Company".

In the report you 'd need to add the company name

and you can also add the association labels, associated contacts and deal.

Of course that this is just a report, and any duplicates that you'd have in the custom object

will be display repeated.

Here's an example:

Hope this helps.
