I know this has been asked a million times, but I couldn't find a straight answer.
I need a way to see the total numbers of Deals that were active on a specific month. Including all Stages and just the number, not Deal Values.
For Example, I need to be able to see that on Jan24, there were 24 Deals in a specific Pipeline, and being able to see it's growth (or decrease of it's total) month by month.
There's an option on Sales Analytics>Historic Snapshot, but that only shows value and ignores ClosedWon.
Historical Snapshots report in HubSpot Sales Analytics has limitations for your use case.
Try creating a custom report in HubSpot focused on Deals, including specific properties such as Close Date (for monthly filtering), Pipeline (for segmentation), and Deal Stage (to capture all stages, including Closed Won).
Set the report to group by month and pipeline and use the Count function on the Deal object to get the total number of deals for each combination.
This will provide a table displaying months, pipelines, and deal counts, offering the historical data you need.
Hope this helps - Happy to help further!! Thank you very much and have a great one! Warm regards

@RaimundoEstela1 keep in mind that this is not giving you historical snapshots, this is giving you the status quo of how many deals are currently in their respective deal stages, based on the current value in the date property you choose. It does not tell you anything about the state of your pipeline one week or one month ago.

I know this is an older post, so guessing you've figured it out since then, but we had a client looking for this as well, and we got a bit creative with the problem solving. Solution does rely on Operations Hub Pro or above, and leverages custom events to make it happen. Its a bit complex, but totally do-able.
@karstenkoehler thanks for your help! Is there no way to generate the standard "Historical snapshots" chart contained in Sales Analytics, only instead of having total deal value, have weighted deal value instead? This seems like a very basic analysis
I'd love a more robust deal histoircal snapshot report. Currently our leadership wants to view Deal movement across each Sales person's pipeline WoW, MoM, QoQ, etc.
Currently, we copy and paste the current pipeline value by stage for each sales person and put this into a table. (Rows = people, columns stages, values deal amount)
We do this every week and then color code wehter that person increased decreased or kept the value the same by deal stage. Currently the historical snapshot for pipeline is a bar graph that only allows you to view a group of people (aggregated) or by indidivudal) This is helpful when you're tryig to compare perfomance across the team to understand Sales activity at a high level.
It would be more insightful to be able to compare that table to the current time frame so I could answer the following questions for each Sales person easily:
1. How much has this persons pipeline increased or decreased by stage over the past 30 days
2. How has sales person A's pipeline changed over the past 30 days compared to this Sale person B's
The sales reports seem to benefit 1:1 sales rep management vs amangement across the team on an indidivual basis. The reports are either specific to one person or an aggregate of the team.
The closest thing I have been able to create to this is a summarized table that has the sales rep as the row, deal stage as the column, deal amount as value.
The filters are:
Entered Deal Stage A is last week
Entered Deal Stage B is Last week
etc for all the deal stages
This then shows me the current value of deals that were moved into certain stages last week by the stage they're currently in.
What this report doesn't do is:
1. allow me to easily update the report to look at past 30 days, quarter etc, as I have to individual update the filter for each deal stage
2. Compare it against time frames this (this month vs last month, etc)

@RaimundoEstela1 as far as I know, no, it's not possible. The default report is as close as you get. You might want to keep this thread open in case others have an idea.
