I'm a newbie with hubspot. I'm trying to create a report for the reasons for when the deals are lost. For example, there are 5 deals that are lost.
1.Bill - lost reason: not interested
2.Jill - lost reason: no reply
3.Sam - lost reason: not a good fit for company
4.Tim - lost reason: no immediate need
5.Fred - lost reason: transfered companies
Using these 5 different reasons for the report. I want to make a report based on the lost deal multi text responds. I have a list of lost reasons set for whenever a deal is lost. I'd appreciate the help!
You first create custom Deal property "Lost Reason" as a dropdown and add all of the reasons you mentioned. Then go to Sales-deals click Board action-edit stages and edit it so set the "Lost Reason" as required when moving the deal to Closed/Lost stage of the desired Pipeline.
Using custom report builder you can easily create the Report where you can see that.
This requires a Professional subscription to access custom reports. If you have that, you'd navigate to Menu > Reports > Reports > Create custom report > Custom Report Builder and select Primary data source "Deals".
Set up the Configure tab in the report builder as shown below:
If you want to filter the report by a deal Create date, you would do so under the Filters tab.
In my case, Closed lost reason is a single-line text field. Your field might be named differently.
