Forecasting recurring revenue with a staggered deployment
Hi,
We are a SaaS company and i have succesfully set up a product library with our one-off hardware line items as well as our SaaS tariffs. What i need to be able to do is accurately forecast the incramental monthly and annual recurring revenue as a solution deploys. For example, if a deal closes in October 2021 for 1000 services, this may take 6 months to fully deploy between Nov '21 and Apr '22.
I therefore need to be able to factor in that deployment rate and report on a weighted revenue for not only the months but financial years, as this deployment spans two years.

Did anyone figure out how to forecast revenue that deploys with recurring product/hardware and SaaS services and one-time install fees over a 6-month ramp or deployment period?
