I am having trouble with my forecast report. It is set to 60% for Quoted deals but for some reason, my forecasted amount is displaying as 100%. I have provided a picture for reference. Has anybody run into something like this before?
A legend at HubSpot support (Richard Younger) made me aware that this is to do with some, presumably relatively new, sales forecasting tools.
Basically forecast amount is calculated based on forecast probability which is separate from the deal stage win probability - this property, along with forecast status allows sales people to report likely results based on knowledge of deal without losing track of the sales process. So until you enter a value less than 1 in the forecast probability, the forecast amount will always be equal to the deal amount.

My onboarding specialist looked into this too and the solution was just what you said. I created a workflow to take all of our sales quotes and forecast them at .6 so our sales reporting pipeline is now reflective of the toal amount for all sales quotes based on our typical close rate.
