Filter by Activity Type - automated vs manual

SOLVE

Hi,

I am generating a report on a sales rep by activity type (task, calls, emails, etc). Are we able to drill down more into filtering whether the activity type was automated (via sequence) or manual? I saw "Activity Created By" which shows who initiated the communication but not whether if it was automated or not.

Hi @Alex_L

Thanks @TiphaineCuisset for the tag!

So from what I understand @Alex_L, your goal is to generate a report where for a specific user, you'd see the source of each activity tied to this user, in order to determine how many of these activities come from sequences vs other sources. Is that correct?

I've given it a try and I believe I may have found a way :).

1. I used a custom reports focused on Sales Activities.

2. In the Configure tab, the setup is as follows:

  • Horizontal bar chart
  • X-axis = Count of sales activities
  • Y-axis = Engagement source
  • Break down by = Activity type

3. In the Filters tab, use the following filters:

  • Sales activities - Created by user ID is equal to [pick your user]
  • Sales activities - Create date is [pick the time frame of your choice]

The Engagement Source will give you many different possible sources. Among the most popular:

bcc_to_crm, conversations, email_integrations etc... and sequences :).

I believe this will give you the report you're after, that being said there could be other ways to achieve that. I'm curious to see what the others will say :).

Let me know if that's what you were after!
