Determine the effectiveness of the activities performed by the sales force

I am not sure if this is something we can do with the reporting tool in hubspot - I have played around with it but could not seem to create the report I wanted.


We have various reports that show the amount of activity performed by our salespeople over a period of time. I would like to find a way to measure how many of these activities resulted in deals being closed - in other words, how effective different activities were in getting customers to buy from us. Either as number of deals closed, or as percentage of calls/emails converted to deals. 

Is this something we can do in Hubspot?

Hey @RRMG 

you can have this type of reports with the Attribution reports

Though you'll need Enterprise licences.

Hi Raphael, 

You may want to check out https://sales.studio - a cohort analysis seems to be what you're looking for. The great thing about Sales Studio is you can map your deals by when they're created (months) and then see how it converts over time, but you can add filters (such as Deal owner, source, etc.) to see the different ways your deals evolve and overall effectiveness by the sales team.

Hey @RRMG!

 

You can get these reports with Dear Lucy app.

 

To give you a couple of examples, the most valuable reports could be:

  • activity win rate %
  • conversion funnel from chosen activities (like connected calls and completed meetings) to won deals
  • reverse funnel to showcase what needs to be done in order to get xx% growth

All reports can be reviewed ie. per person, per business unit or on company level.

Although you couldn't find the exact report you wanted in the pre-built options, HubSpot allows for custom report creation. You can utilize custom report builders to tailor the data and metrics to your specific needs. This may require some experimentation and tweaking to get the report just right, but it can provide the level of detail you're seeking.
