SOLVE

I'm trying to create an active list of companies. the list is supposed to show companies who a) have zero open deals b) have no closed (won or lost) deals with a close date less than 365 days ago, and c) has at least 1 closed (won or lost) deal with a close date more than 365 days ago.

In plain english, we want a list of companies whose only associated deals are closed (won or lost) and they closed more than 365 days ago. No companies with open deals, or with deals that closed less than a year ago, should show up.

We have no issues excluding companies with open deals. It's the part around the closed deals and their dates that is causing the issue.

Hi @JPither,

HubSpot's list filters always work on the basis of "is associated to at least one", there is no filter option for "is not associated to any". That means that you'll have to create multiple lists here:

  1. Create a company-based list of companies that are associated to any open deal OR companies that are associated to any deal with close date less than 365 days ago
  2. Create a company-based list of companies that are associated to any deal with close date more than 365 days ago AND are not a member of the first list

You can find instructions for list creation here: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/lists/create-active-or-static-lists

To filter for associated deals, click to add a filter, then change the "Filtering on" dropdown in the expanding sidebar from Company to Deal.

Best regards!

You are right but sometimes this also fails. Sometimes hearts get cancelled and engagement does not happen. That is why we face a lot of problems later on as to how will the engagement happen or how will it not happen?
