Deal conversion rate - which report to use?



I'm new to exploring deal reporting in HubSpot and trying to understand if there's a report that will show how many deals we started with and how many we converted/won. I've been looking at both the funnel report and journey report, but am confused as to why numbers aren't matching up. Both reports are filtered to display data for this year. For example, the qualified sales opportunity stage is showing 33 deals in the funnel report but 36 deals in the journey report. And, the activated (won) stage is showing 1 deal in the funnel report and 3 in the journey report. 


Any insight into the discrepancy between the two reports?
