Customising Goals in HubSpot Reports

SOLVE

Hey everyone!

We’re still struggling to effectively compare our reports against our specific goals in HubSpot. The default reports only allow us to set revenue targets based on total amounts, but we have other key financial metrics we need to track—like ARR.

Additionally, we want to track our sales goals beyond just revenue. For example, one of our 2025 goals is to achieve four new product activations.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to customize goals in HubSpot to track these kinds of metrics? Would love to hear if anyone has found a workaround or solution!

Thanks in advance! 😊

Hey @TVaz - I think it's possible with some custom property work. For tracking ARR, you can set up a custom property to capture this data and then create a goal based on that property. (here's an outside source I found that may help) This should allow you to track and report on ARR specifically, rather than just total revenue.

And for non-revenue goals like product activations, you could create a custom property for "Product Activations" in your deal or company records, set up a custom goal using this property, and configure the goal to track the number of activations, setting your target of four for 2025.

Ideally, once you've set up these custom goals you should be able to use HubSpot's custom reports to visualize your progress towards these goals and make a cool dashboard to display these reports alongside other key metrics.
