Custom reporting - unsubscribes from webinar emails
SOLVE
Hello -
I have a client who wants a report detailing how many contacts with specific job titles are unsubscribing via the unsubscribe link in their webinar emails (note: their naming convention includes a 4-letter code denoting that it's a webinar email).
Is this even possible? I've not had much luck so far getting to that level of data.
There isn't any report which explicitly lets you access the emails that unsubscribes originate from. But there is a workaround / approximation where you look at contacts for whom Unsubscribed from all email is True and you look at their "Last marketing email name", the name of the last marketing email sent. (HubSpot would not send the marketing email for unsubscribed contacts.)
Once you filter for the job titles and the keywords within the last marketing email name, you should be all set.
This is an approximation because there is a high likelihood that the last marketing email sent is the one that made the contact unsubscribe. There are however other ways for contacts to be unsubscribed, such as the opt out by a HubSpot portal user or an unsubscribe from a previously sent email.
Still, I think this is a good enough and solid way to approach this.
Hope this helps!
