Creating Tags Dependant on Time in Stage

Résolue

Want to create an overdue tag for my deal pipeline on the below parameters.

- I can set specific time frames in days, that we expect each stage of the pipeline to take.

- Once a deal within the pipeline reaches that alloted time frame for that stage, it shows up with the tag to notify us to work to move the deal to the next stage.

I've been able to create a tag based on days since last activitity, but I want it to be specific to the pipeline stage its currently in.

Creating Tags Dependant on Time in Stage

Résolue

Hi @SDC2001,

This should be straightforward with these default properties:

  • Date entered [stage ID]: the date and time the deal entered the stage.
  • Date exited [stage ID]: the date and time the deal exited the stage.

You should be able to apply a date filter to the former (is more than x days ago) and use the latter (is unknown) to only display the tag if the deal has not progressed to a later stage already.

This requires a Sales Hub Professional or Enterprise subscription. I'm not aware f any automatic workarounds for the free CRM or Sales Hub Starter.

Best regards

It sounds like you want a tag that tracks how long a deal stays in a specific pipeline stage, not just based on the last activity. To achieve this, you can set up an automation or custom workflow that triggers a tag when a deal exceeds the allotted time in any given stage. Many CRM tools allow for setting stage-specific time limits, so once the time is up, the tag would appear, notifying you to move the deal forward.
