Conversion - looking for ideas

My deals are deceiving as they are mostly for samples. The sample kit has a value of $1 and single samples $0. I would like to be able to account for the conversion from a kit to revenue.
a)sales through a distributor would be account for separately
b)SAP Business One will record all product leaving here
c)lifecycle of customer is determined by "deal" unless manually overwritten
What I am looking for -
any thoughts, ideas, etc
