Contacts to Deal - report for Sales

JoshAlhat
Member

I want to create a report which would help me understand:
-Contacts that became deals
-Then weather these deals were won/lost
-I want the ability to filter down contacts based on certain properties(basically not all the 100s and 1000s of contacts that I have)

Hi @JoshAlhat

Contacts and deals are quite different entities, with a many to many relationship, which may make the kind of reporting you want impossible to automate.

What I would recommend, if you have Sync Lifecycle Stages turned on for Deals, is use a a funnel report to show how many Contacts became Opportunities (based on deal being created) and how many became customer (based on deal being closed won).

You can use seperate funnel report to see how many deals moved from created to closed won and closed lost, but this doesn't tie it back to the contact object.

Hope this helps.
