Billing Frequency Work Around 5 Year License For SaaS

Hey Guys,

I work with a SaaS company based in the security industry. They are rolling out a new product where they want to sell a 5-year license and maybe a 10-year license to their customers. It's standard in that industry.

There are two main challenges.

Billing frequency doesn't allow for 5 Years and 10 years.

There is no reporting for it to show how much we would be making on an ARR or MRR basis.

Has anyone found a workaround for billing frequency or anything like this?

Hubspot suggested creating all new fields and building them completely custom. Then do all custom calculations. It's a lot of work to do that, but it can be done if needed.

We are also open to other solutions like a ChargeBee to see if it can be done.

Billing Frequency Work Around 5 Year License For SaaS

Hello @HarrisonBaron and @kvlschaefer,

Currently, HubSpot doesn't have the functionality for building Billing Frequency for up to 3 years.

But HubSpot provides the option of custom properties where you can build some calculations and calculate the ARR or MRR on the basis of this. As a result, you can fulfill your requirement for now!
