Average Cycle Time for Deals

SOLVE

I'm looking for a way to determine the average cycle time for ALL closed Deals.  Analytics reports have the Deal Velocity report which breaks it down to "Closed Won" and "Closed Lost", but I'm looking for a single number for all closed Deals.  I can't seem to figure how to combine those two for a single number or in build a report to do that cacluation.

Has anyone done this calculation before?

Average Cycle Time for Deals

Hi @BMcGee,

You can access this information in a custom single object deal report. Navigate to Menu > Reports > Reports > Create report > Single object > Deals.

Under Filters, make sure to set Create date to all time and filter by Deal stage closed won.

In the Data tab, click Add deal property and you should find "Time in Stage" properties for all of your deal stages. Add all of the ones you're interested in.

Then switch into the Visualization tab and choose the summary chart type, then drag and drop all "Time in Stage" properties into the Displaying area.

As a last step, make sure to click the dropdown to change "Total" to "Average" and you should be all set.

Let me know if you have any follow-up questions!
