We conduct sales calls daily. Up until now our stats (call booked, applied, approved, no showed, call taken) have been reported based on most recent meeting date.
Our pipelines are set up to move a single deal across our sales pipelines and the stats are updated based on the contact record. The issue with reporting on the most recent meeting date is that if a client books two calls within a month then the stats are reset and not giving us a clear picture. It is also affecting historical data.
What I am trying to do is report on every sales call. It was suggested that we create a new deal for every meeting. The issue that I am encountering is updating the correct deal record using workflows. Currently we use association labels. However if there are multiple deals, within the same pipeline for a single contact how would the automation detect which deal to update?
I have solved it for when a deal stage is updated manually by our sales team. BUT when we have the deal stage being updated automatically based on events we currently use association labels.
At the most basic level, all I want to do is be able to produce stats on every meeting booked. I am willing to start from scratch.
What we are looking to report on are totals in the following categories within a certain time frame: Calls booked Applications received Calls approved Calls taken Calls no showed.
The properties are currently updated at the contact level. Including "most recent metting date". We do not use HS meetings
