Setting up HubSpot & Zoom 

 

  1. Install the Zoom App by following these steps to connect Zoom and HubSpot 
  2. Customize the global Zoom settings to sync Zoom webinars to HubSpot. In the Webinars section, click the Sync webinar data toggle on to sync webinar data from Zoom to HubSpot

Completing these steps will enable Zoom webinar registrants and attendees to sync to Marketing Events in HubSpot. Thus creating a seamless registration and contact management process that eliminates manual data entry and ensures your contact database is always up-to-date with registers and activity data. 

 

Tips for Successful Webinars

 

  • Create Compelling Landing Pages: Design an effective landing page with an easy registration form. Include a clear value proposition and important information, like guest speaker information, to drive webinar registrations. 

  • Segment and Build Lists: Target your marketing efforts by utilizing Zoom’s webinar activity data within HubSpot to create segmented lists based on registration, attendance, and engagement 
  • Utilize Workflows for Nurturing: Engage registrants before, during, and after the webinar with automated emails. Use HubSpot workflows to send a thank you/confirmation email immediately after a contact registers, set up reminder emails leading up to the webinar, and follow-up emails with recordings, resources, and clear calls-to-action.

 

Analyze your Webinar Results 

 

Leverage HubSpot’s reporting features for a comprehensive view of your webinar performance to analyze so you can identify areas for improvement in future events. 

 

  • Review the Marketing Event Object for a quick view of high-level event stats (webinar registration & attendance)
