How to Build a Professional Email Signature in Minutes
There are numerous benefits to having an email signature which is why it’s something I always recommend customers have set up prior to sending out their 1:1 emails in HubSpot. Let’s dive into how to build a professional email signature in just a few minutes.
This is where you’ll personalize your signature information. The following are elements I recommend including for professionalism and clarity, plus why each element is important:
Full Name: Helps the recipient identify who you are.
Job Title: Provides context about your role within the company.
Company Name: Establishes brand recognition and association.
Contact Information: Include phone number and email to provide multiple contact methods.
Company Website: Directs recipients to learn more about your company and its offerings.
Social Media Links: Encourages engagement and connection on other platforms.
Step 3: Add a Logo or Image to your signature
Adding a visual element can enhance recognition and professional appearance. You’ll want to grab your image from your own hosted website or internet search for optimal results. If needed, you can follow these steps to upload your image to HubSpot’s files tool to generate a public file URL you can use for your signature.
Step: 4 Select Your Template
There are six templates you can choose from to select the best layout for you!
Step 5: Style your Signature
In this last section of creating your signature, you can edit the colors, font, and text size to finalize the styling based on your preferences or business’s branding. You can also add a Call-to-Action like a ‘Book Time with Me’ button connected to your HubSpot Scheduling Page.
Step 6: Add your signature to HubSpot and your Email Client
After you’ve finalized the styling your signature should be all set to start using. Follow the links on the page to copy your signature and add it to your email client. Don’t forget to add the signature to your HubSpot CRM by following these steps- pro tip: copy the signature source code and drop it right into the HTML section!
