Google Docs and sheets

SOLVE

I am not sure this the appropriate place for this.....

I love HubSpot and all the resources. I don't use Gmail, I use outlook 365. Google Sheets and Google Docs aren't the best for me. I think I can download them, but curious - WHY?

Thanks.

Happy HubSpotting and Growing Better.

Google Docs and sheets

SOLVE

Hi @gelflex-cc ,

  No worries at all! My point was that you could create an account with Google that would allow you to use Sheets, Docs, and other G Suite tools, but you wouldn't necessarily have to connect that account to HubSpot at all. I do like your idea though about exporting a spreadsheet from Google Sheets into an Excel file though! I don't recall there being any issues with doing this, so it may be worth trying! Let me know if there is any additional insight that I can provide for you here!

Hi @gelflex-cc ,

  Let's see what we can do here! To start, I can confirm that HubSpot is set up to interface well with most G Suite tools like Sheets and Docs. That being said, you can still create an account with Google to access these tools, while continuing to host your email through Outlook 365. If therer is any additional insight that I can provide here though please let me know!

@KCampbell Hi Kevin,

Thank you for your time on this. I have gone into my Google Sheets and realize I have missed many key prices. Taking steps on this now.

THANK YOU.

Google Docs and sheets

SOLVE

@KCampbell Hi Kevin,

Thank you for jumping in on this one.

I was shortsighted in my explanation which I want to address as well as your comments.

To my point - Understood about HubSpot and Google. I was taking lessons and love the resources. While Google sheets are easy to use and can be accessed almost anywhere, I still prefer excel. What I had not thought about was exporting the google sheet to excel.  And thinking out loud, there used to be challenges when doing this.

To your point - HMMM please explain the Hubspot interface with Goole when the email is not Gmail.

Thank you.

Happy New Year.

Chris

@KCampbell because I use google chrome I do have a login. I am Dharmesh's generation so.....while he is super cool, I am not always!  I do not remember all the challenges with google sheets and they go back 15  years, hence the reluctance.

I will try and see what happens.

The first challenge is finding the download as they go right to google sheets where a pdf goes to my desktop.

Do you know if a desktop shortcut can be created to a specific sheet? Since we dont use gmail, it is a process to get to sheets.
