Old Company Insights

So, I am a lot disappointed that apparently the company insights that have always been pulled from knowing the company web domain has been taken away and now has to be paid for.  That is really really really bad.  Increased FRICTION for sure.  Now instead of having things like address, phone, company linkedin page automatically pulled in - now the record sits blank and the user has to manually add it if we don't have deep pockets. 

 

What is an admin to do?

It sounds like you're referring to the sunset of HubSpot Insights: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/object-settings/hubspot-insights-on-company-records

 

Please note: on March 17, 2025, HubSpot Insights will be sunset. After that date, you won't be able to access HubSpot Insights. Accounts created after September 18th, 2024 don't have any access to HubSpot Insights. To populate company information moving forward, learn more about migrating to Breeze Intelligence data enrichment.

Going forward, as you said, you would have to use the linked Breeze Intelligence features, if you're looking for a native solution. I agree that this is frustrating and there has been a lot of discussion on various platforms about this.

 

As an alternative to Breeze Intelligence, in the ecosystem, some tools have come up trying to fill the gap (neither tested nor endorsed by me), for example https://accountscout.app/

 

These third-party tools could be another option for you – but overall, yes, enriching company records has become more difficult.

HONESTLY.  Hubspot seems to be making updates (and by that I mean taking away beneficial features and making us pay for them instead) and not thinking about the impact it has. We had loads of companies created as just the email domain, which causes extra work for everyone to update the name of the company.  Sure we can turn it off, but then contacts aren't linked to the company which causes even more of a headache. 

 

This was one of the WORST "updates" they've made.

Yeah Hubspot is really working for their shareholders.  Every little thing is becoming paid now.  Even if your already paying enterprise fees.

Thanks for confirming, but HubSpot REALLY needs to separate out FRICTION from "insights".  It's just making users take more time to enter data - and forcing companies to look at their options. I know AI is the wonder bread, and I'd love to pay for actual insights and intel.  We are not asking for INSIGHTS into the company, but just the basics from their websites or the database HS used to pull from.  Name, Address, Phone, social media links.
