HubSpot Surveys Will Not Save Changes - Possible Bug: "Something went wrong Unable to save changes"

Hello,

 

It appears that there is a bug with HubSpot's Survey feature. I cannot save any changes being made on the survey. There are no duplicate fields, I have tried logging in and out, using a different browser, clearing cookies, etc. and still have had no luck.

 

This problem first started to occur two weeks ago, and I assumed that it would resolve itself after enough time. However, even making a text change will return the following error:

When I check the console in dev tools, it appears that my browser is recieving a 400 error from the HubSpot servers or that the request from my server to save is not recieving a response:

I had forgotten to follow-up on this. This issue did eventually get resolved, although I wasn't really certain what made this work. I am thinking that the problem was probably because I needed to empty my browser cache.

Thank you for your response, kind words, and for suggesting a couple of solutions. I haven't tried logging in with an incognito window yet, so I'll give that a shot. I appreciate you checking for internal bugs, that helps me a lot in troubleshooting.

 

I may reach out to HubSpot's support team if I'm still having trouble. Either way, I'll be sure to follow up here with the solution in case someone has the same problem.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience regarding this.

I checked and I don't see any internal bug reported for surveys at the moment.

I see that you tried different browsers and clearing the cookies etc., but could you please try in incognito?
Sometimes this does the trick.

I would also recommend connecting with HubSpot Technical Support, as Support is included in your subscription and they will be able to provide real-time assistance for this matter, including hopping on a screenshare if necessary.
