Google account flagged when hubspot added to adwords
Hi, I have started working with an seo company managing my google ads. Yesterday I got a message from google saying my account had suspicious activity, at about 1.30pm. I have changed my password etc, nothing amiss, no changes on any google prodoct apart from, at the same time, an email adwords@hubspot.com was added to my google ads account!
I recovered access to my gogole account but annoyingly at the same time, all 3 of my google "my business" accounts were suspended!
I'm not exactly sure I understand your question. Are you talking in general? i.e. Is HubSpot conflicting with Google Ads when connected?
If that's the case, the answer is no.
When you connect your Google account to HubSpot, the only thing HubSpot does when it comes to ad tracking is to add our own tracking parameters to your Google Ads URLs at the campaign level.
I would recommend reaching out to Google’s support team. They should be able to provide further clarification on why your accounts were blocked, as it appears this isn’t something you are observing directly in HubSpot. Just to clarify, when you mention the " entries that appear in Status changed from "Customer manager created"," are you referring to what you see in your Google account? If it’s a flag in your HubSpot account that you can show me with screenshots, or if you could provide a more precise example, I can look into it further. However, if everything you’re seeing is in Google, it’s best to contact Google support directly, they may be able to provide more insight into those entries, why they flagged your account, etc.
