'Optimize' in the page editor suggests I keep my outbound links to under 300. Most of my pages show more than 300, but these are primarily navigation links (mega-menu, hamburger menu, etc., see testing page). Why are these seen as outbound? How can I reduce this count or should I not bother?
Thanks Jennifer. I asked Support the same question and they agreed:
....However, as a rule of thumb, search engines are smart enough to understand that the content and the links are related, and that the content isn't spamming links so it should not be too big of a concern...
I have noticed this in the optimize tab on our demo pages and in doing testing in SEMrush compared to HubSpot I believe that HubSpot might be seeing any link away from the page as outbound, rather than a true outbound link to another website.
I believe this to be a false warning and couldn't find another explaination as to why these links were being flagged. Google and search engines only consider too many outbound links to websites other than your domain to be "spammy" and I haven't found any significant impact caused by the internal links.

@wmflan39 you might consider adding an idea to the discussion so the product team can review and look at a way to remove this flag and avoid confusion.
