SEO SCAN - Duplicate Title Tags

lösung

Hi, I carried out the SEO Scan that is available on Hubspot for our company website. It came with a numerous recommendations but the first one being "Address pages with duplicate Title Tags." I cannot seem to find where to make this amendment, I have searched on the HubSpot Academy and myself when comparing the content pages mentioned but cannot seem to find the duplicates?

Hoping someone can recommend something that can help me here!

Thanks in advance!

SEO SCAN - Duplicate Title Tags

Hey @HRafferty

A duplicate title tag recommendation in HubSpot's SEO Scan means that multiple pages on your website have the same title tag. Title tags are important for SEO because they help search engines understand the content of your pages and affect your site's search rankings.

Identify Duplicate Pages: Navigate to the SEO tool in your HubSpot account. Click on the scanned domain and review the SEO recommendations.

Look for the recommendation regarding duplicate title tags. Review Each Duplicate: Click on the recommendation to see a list of pages with duplicate title tags.

Examine each page to understand why they have identical title tags. Modify Title Tags: Edit the title tags to make them unique and descriptive for each page. Ensure the title tags accurately reflect the content of their respective pages.

For HubSpot-hosted pages, use the content editor to update the title tags. For pages hosted outside of HubSpot, navigate to those pages and manually update the title tags in the HTML code

After making the necessary changes, rescan your domain to verify that the duplicate title tag issue has been resolved.

SEO SCAN - Duplicate Title Tags

Title tags are pulled from "Page Title" within settings on the webpage.

Check Page Title on your address/locations pages to see if those match up to what you're seeing on the SEO scan.
